High Calorie Art

I have always like the color and romance of this painting.  It is not an intellectual piece or anything of deep artistic meaning, in fact some might see it as fluff.  Nevertheless, it hangs in my bedroom and I enjoy looking at it.

My kids wanted to give me something complementary and about ten Christmas’s ago, I received this.  Please note all the red hair.  Painters of that turn of the century era loved to paint redheads in Medieval settings.  (Dicksee, and Leighton above.)

I have one more on my wish list.  I just think I could write a story to go with it.

Here are some others I like:

 Smell the roses?

Feel the wind?

Do you think the Mona Lisa is more beautiful?
